DTE recorder connections

   Hi all, new guy here, Is there a DTE recorder that has RCA inputs for video and audio? Or do they all have firewire inputs only. I'm trying to do some in car video in racecars and the car ignition system is causing some video interference. Plus the vibration does also (currently using mini DVD Sony cam). Am I headed in the right direction by goin DTE? Also, what kind of inline suppressor do I need to put on the power wire to eliminate the (whistle) sound I'm getting in the audio track from the car's charging system.
