Dolby Digital in a saved file

   Is there a way to embedd DD in an mpg file? I'm rendering my video in Pinnacle Studio 9 and then creating menus in DVDit and I'd like to preserve the 5.1 sound. Help?

   You can't really embed anything into an existing MPEG file if I'm understanding you correctly.
   
   It takes special encoders to encode 5.1 sound of which all of your channels are done at the same time. You can't add to it once you're already done.
   
   I know Adobe Premiere Pro has this Surecode (plug-in). I'm not sure if Pin~9 has anything or not.
