I am thinking of buying one of these cameras but am a little confused about the two models. Also I am in Australia and would like to purchase the camera from the USA. Is the US version especially for the NSTC system or can they function on PAL as well? Any help on this or general thoughts on the camera would be much appreciated.

some cameras do switch bet
some cameras do switch between pal and NTSC, but I dont think they can in that price range.
