Crop problems in Premiere Elements 8

   Hi all,

   I wonder if you can help we out with a very odd problem I've been
   having. I'm new to the video editing world so please bear with me if
   I'm being an idiot. I've looked all over for the answer with no luck.

   My problem is: When I use the crop feature in PE8 what is rendered doesn't look like what is seen in the editor.

   This is how it looks in Premiere Elements with the crop applied.

   This is how the same bit looks when rendered. It's OK top to bottom but has taken more off to each side.

   There nothing wrong with the sections I haven't cropped, but all my
   cropped elements are rendering like this. Any ideas anyone, please?

   I am using PE8 on a Windows7 laptop.
