On page 34 of this month's (April 2005) issue, you say -
"If your computer, doesn't have this kind of built-in DVD burning capability yiou'll need to purchase an External DVD burner..."
Not true.
The large majority of desktop PC's come with two IDE slots that can handle two devices each. Therefore a total capacity of four drives (harddrives, CD's & DVD's) is available without resorting to extreme measures.
This is important to readers for several reasons. First, internal burners are cheaper. Also, they are faster - which might be a big consideration for those who don't yet have USB 2.0.
Even most laptops today, allow you to replace a CD drive with a DVD or DVD-burner drive, although in those cases it is going to be cheaper to go with an external drive.
By the way, most IDE configurations accept a Primary drive and a Slave drive. It is best to set your system/programs harddrive as Primary on IDE 0 - then set your video files harddrive as Primary on IDE 1. Make your CD or DVD drives the slave drives.
