Converting Video For Projection!!!!!!!

   Hi everyone,

   I would really appreciate if someone was able to help me!!! I am currently editing footage that I hope to project behind my band as live visuals.  My problem is that I think once I burn a dvd and play it through the projector on a larger screen, the footage will be pixelated and stretched.  Is there any plug in or software available that can convert or repair video footage so that it does not do that?

   Run it through a laptop if possible this will help avoid quality loss. A DVD will be in standard Definition.
