Converting NTSC to PAL

   I have a Samsung 5000W multi-system VCR which can convert NTSC to PAL. I am editing my Hi 8 tapes on my Sony camcorder into my JVC S-VHS VCR. The edited NTSC tapes are fine.Unfortunately, after converting to PAL, the PAL tapes have a reddish hue at times and periodically go from light to dark. I am getting no support from Samsung and this is my third VCR to correct the problem. Any suggestions?
