Casablanca AvioDVD Standalone editing systems

   I have been editing with computer base editing systems for 5 years now. I have so much trouble with my last editing system and will have to purchase a new editing system. I am serious considering purchasing a MacroSystem Casablanca Avio DVD but I want to know if anyone has had technical problems with one? What has been the experience with the Avio DVD is it a good turnkey editing system. If anyone owns a Casablanca Avio DVD or any other Casablanca editing system please reply to my post and tell me your experience with them.

   They don't seem like a good value. With a computer based system, you get more bang for your buck. What "problems" were you having?

   I have been having a bunch of hard drive failures, going bad on me, soundcard going out on me. I do live in place where the power goes out. I have a battery back up but I am still having problems.
   
   What are some good computer based systems out there?
