Canon T1i video to physical media - HD footage on a dvd

    I googled "HD Video on DVD" and found this thread on these forums:

   This is what I would like to do.  Burn the H.264 video from the .MOV clips from my camera onto a DVD to be played in blu ray players, just because the DVD media is cheaper and the video segments are small.

   What I do not know, is what are some specific software titles that I can do this with?  I am new to the video editing stuff.
