Canon HX A1s

   Just be aware that if you are upgrading, as I just did, to the Canon HX A1s it has no scene transtions such as a simple fade.  I guess Canon feels that everything shot will be edited in post.  I do a lot of "in camera" editing and that is difficult to do without the transitions.  Also the AV outs don't work with any of the equipment, I guess the HX A1s is just too advanced for me.  It is a very solid well built camera and I am sure a wonderful camera for the very advanced videographer.
