Canon 500d Rebel T1 is it ok for real time streaming.

   I need a camera to use it mainly as a web camera i.e. to stream a signal from it on the web.

   It is also will be modified in Adobe Premiere Pro before being sent on the web.

    

   Can it be done with canon 500d photo camera, or I need a camcoder?
