Can I achieve the frame mode effect on a VX2000?

    I purchased a VX2 recently, and it was hard choice between it and a GL2 because frame mode is something I really wanted to have. Could I lower a shutter speed or maybe de-interlace?

    I really have no idea what I'm talking about. I hope you do.

    All you need to do is recallibrate the defillibrating oscillator on the opticaliber and you should be all set!

    It would have been nice if Sony had included 24p with the VX2100, but they didn't. I don't think there's anything you can do (other than the above instructions) about it except to have a smug feeling when you're shooting in low light amongst those with GL2s.

    OK, to stop the questioning PMs, that post (2 above) was a joke. There are no such controls, so refrain from bugging Sony support. X-D
