Does anyone use zoom or wide-angle lenses when shooting? I have a sony trv-340 and I bought this "digital vision" zoom lens with a macro attachment and it makes the outsides of the frame bend in a little...I was wondering if it was the lens and if I should stick with sony lenses or not use any at all? What do you experts do? I mainly shoot weddings and events.

If anyone has a 37mm wide angle adapter that doesn't introduce barrel distortion I'd like to hear of it. My 0.65 wide angle for my Sony TRV525 certainly does, as to a lesser extent does my Canon WD-58 on my VX2000. It seems to come with the territory that some distortion of vertical lines is the trade-off for a wider field of view. I've only read of one 58mm W/A adapter that doesn't and it's next to impossible to find and buy.
