My production company in thinking of buying a new camera. We need somthing in a $200 to $300 dollar price range that shoots hybrid video and has a 3.5mm audio input. I relly need the audio input for a boom mic. and they are so hard to find on $200 to $300 dollar cameras.

you should think about upping your budget. you're not going to get anything worth using for $300. May as well go to Wal Mart and see what they have there if that's your budget.

Take a look on Craig's list...sometimes you can pick up huge bargains from people who just don't want the camera anymore....gently used I would guess
