I was originally looking at a Sony PDX10. Then I was told this is more money than I need to spend. A salesman later suggested the TRV950, which is about $300 less. But I was told by someone else I could find something for 1/2 that.
But it seems to me that up until the $1,000 price range you are still looking at "consumer" models and not a "professional camcorder".
If I could buy a less expensive model, I can buy 2 and shoot front and side views together and save time.
What I want to do is record a martial arts instructional series. All shooting will be in doors. I have good lighting solutions. I just have to make sure I can make a high quality DVD picture and get good sound pick up.
Thanks.
