    Hey guys,

Been away for quite a while doing movies. Capturing and rendering use up my "free" time.

Wanted to ask whether Adobe After Effects was a complete program but found out that Lee had already just answered that question here. I really want to get Boris Continuum Basics for special effects, but I need something to run it on. Adobe After Effects seems the logical choice, especially since I found it for sale @ under $300. Presume I can output an avi file using the two tegether.

Any other ideas as to how to get Boris to work for me other than go to Russia and find Natasha?

Have I got this straight? Boris FX and Boris Continuum are identical except that Continuum is for Adobe After Effects and FX can be used by Vegas?

Maybe there's a reason for me to get Vegas after all, but why $200 more just to write DVDs?

I'm using Vegas Pro 10c and the new Boris BCC-7FX for VP 10. Having some problems, see my post under Sony Vegas pro 10, and can tell you that Boris Tech services will reply, but takes a long time to get back, Then a question which I answer right away only to wait a few more weeks to hear again.

I have not tried all the plug-ins, but the ChromaKey is great with all the matte and lighting stuff so this is not a bad mouth of Boris... unless more fail as I use them.

Just think about your decision and don't think either VP 10 or BCC 7 for VP 10 is finished sorting out the difficulties. Further is you do not have 64 bit I would be extra carefu.
