Ok, one of my cameras that i use quite often is my gl2, here's my dilema. A tiny spec of dust has settled on the inside of the lense and won't move. Now i cant see it on any of the video shot on the camera but i know it's there and it's killing me. The camera is still under warranty but... i got the camera in exchange for work and the people refuse to give me the receipt for the camera so thats out. and i have an engineering degree but attempted to start to take apart the camera YA RIGHT! and i don't want to have to pay canon service $150 just to remove a piece of dust. Any ideas guys. Thanks

I had a similar problem with the GL2 im currently using. But the solution was a lot easier than i thought. The dust i saw was not on the lens itself, but inside the eye piece. This may not be of any help to you, but i thought i'd throw it out there. Personally i wouldn't attemp to take it apart myself. Good luck.
