After Effects Platform Question

   I use a PC with After Effects. I need to transfer the files to a G5 Mac. Are the project files interchangable for after effects between these platforms?
   
   The reason I'm asking first, is because the G5 is 2.5 hours away. To know whether or not would save a bit of time. Thanks.
