Adobe?????? XH A1!!!!!

   hello,
   I have vegas studio and can not capture video from my xh a1 camera. I don't know if I should buy adobe (I use windows)? can I capture with the xh a1? IN HD and 24f?

   I also have an XH-A1 and have just downloaded the trial viersion of Vegas and the one time I have tried to capture it would not work for me either. I have been using Pinnacle Studio 11 which is OK but I would like to move to higher grade of editing software, I have also thought about going with Adobe.
