I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, however I couldn't find another place so I apologize if this isnt the correct place.
I just upgraded to the Sennheiser G3 wireless microphones, and I'm really needing help as to accurately adjusting the settings. If anyone has experience I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks!
Paul
Hi Paul, I can't say I'm
Hi Paul,
I can't say I'm too familiar with the G3 model, but we frequently use the G2 model in our video production. If you press the "set" button on the receiver it will give you several options. Arrow up or down until you find "bank" press "set" again to select a bank.
Then arrow down until you find "scan", press "set" to select the option, and the receiver will start scanning for an open frequency. Once it finds an open frequency it will stop (if there are multiple frequencies available it will give you a choice). Select the frequency you desire. Then, just be sure to adjust your transmitter to same settings and you should be set to go.
The other adjustment you'll want to make is to the mic sensitivity. Ours is set to -30, but that's not going to be the case for all mics and scenarios.
