    The video itself is good and has pretty good quality - at least for YouTube.

    The music in the first video is very distracting - I'd either have nothing or something soothing.

    I also personally prefer a voice to walk me through what is going on.

    It makes it more personal and interesting.

    I agree. Lose the music and record your voice. Talking allows you to ramble and explain more about what you're doing and why you chose to take the steps you're taking, which is something captions don't do because people don't want to type or read that much.
