    Like new, no scratch, no ding.
    I used it once for a project and I have to pay for school tuition now...
    It is the bayonnet mount model. It works like a charm.

    Stephan, when you first posted this, I went online and checked out the specs and was still scratching my head as to why this would be worth the money.

    I do quite a bit of 16:9 shooting with my two VX2100s, without using any special lenses.

    Maybe it will help if you could explain to me (and others) just why we would want to spend money to do 16:9 when we're already doing it just fine without extra gadgets. I may not be the only one who is not understanding this.

    I wish you luck on the tuition and in school! Stick with it!!

    Hi,

    Have a look at the samples.

    When you switch to 16:9 with your vx2100, you simply apply a "mask"
    to the video your camera is recording. You lose a lot of video information.
    It is a "false" 16:9

    When using the Century optics lens you get real 16:9. Your recorded image is much wider than what you would record with the "false" 16:9 that your vx2100 gives you.
