Another way to do this is by pulling a clip into your timeline, double clicking it, clicking on the picture in picture (pip) tab, clicking chroma key and then activating. I recently upgraded to Studio 10 plus and am very satisfied. You get a good bang for 30 bucks. After you upgrade to Studio 10 plus I recommend updating to 10.8. The patch is free and has some new formats.
