In the 12 years I've been doing video, I'd say except for the first couple years (when I didn't know what I was doing) I could probably count the number of times I've used all those special transitions put together on my fingers.</p> <p>Now, saying that, maybe you have a legitimate reason for these transitions. In our business, we like to produce the quality of programs where you'd mistake them for being TV shows. And on TV, you have about 97% cuts, 3% dissolves, and .0000000001% Every other transition ever crafted by man.
