The only thing I'd suggest is that you double check the install to make sure all the components of the suite are properly installed. On two of the Macbook Pros I installed CS4, I had to go back and reinstall a couple of applications. Keep your machine lean try not to install a bunch of applications that you don't need. Up your ram to 4 GB. Upgrade your hard drive to a 500 GB 7200 rpm drive. Use an external firewire 800 raid for all your video work. I made all these mods to my Macbook Pro and it made a great editing machine, even with HD footage. If you are doing a lot of HD footage consider the Matrox Mini with the express card, I haven't done that because my son ran off to university with my Macbook Pro so I replaced it with a iMac. I wish I bought another Macbook Pro. Gerry in Calgary.

I don't think there is much to configure, just install the MAC version of Premiere and give it a go.
