I'm an experienced sports videographer/journalist and I've covered a lot of sport, football (UK version), rugby, cricket, athletics (T&amp;F), boxing, tennis etc etc but never volleyball. I've searched the forums a bit for a problem similar to mine, but i can't seem to find anything similar or I just don't know what the "keyword" is to find that golden thread with my answer. Anyway, I'm having a problem when I import an .avi file and take a clip from it and drag it to the timeline and then render it. It's very pixelated and isn't nearly of the quality of the original video. What setting have I screwed up that is causing this problem? I have recently started using a Sony HDR-SR12E camcorder.  I have down loaded the video using the Sony Picture Motion Browser (PMB) supplied.  That is fine for editing but I would like to use Microsoft Video Maker (MVM) which came within MS Vista Home Premium.   I am unable to get the video clips into MVM.  When trying to import video clips, and clicking on the folder - the folder is empty, yet when you go back to PMB they are there.
