Hello,

I have to livestream video of a presenter giving a presentation live from the US to an audience in France. I have a Canon GL2 and a video encoder/server. We are going to use livestream.com or a similar service. I have a couple of questions. First, any suggestions for shooting a presentation screen? We will be in a classroom. I should be able to close blinds and just leave the normal lights on. I just do not want the screen to be washed out so that the audience will be able to see & read it well. I need lighting suggestions all the way around, the presenter is very dark complected so I want to make sure the lighting is right so that it complements her as well as the screen. I'm sure I need other tips...Ive never done live streaming before! Thanks so much! :)

Hi all! I need to create a presentation DVD, and am not sure what software would be best for this -

It needs to be a disc that will load up automatically when inserted, has a root menu wil links to seperate files (pdfs, photos, other), and if possible, the software would allow for a fair bit of customisation - it sounds like there should be plenty out there - but I can't find anything quite right, only stuff that allows powerpoint presentation conversion etc. - not ideal. I would've thought even CD burning software tools would come packaged with something like this these days (e.g. NERO etc.)

Any thoughts, much appreciated.

Two questions: Can anyone tell me exactly how to connect 2 DLP projectors for dvd presentation (it's a montage for a wedding)?

Also, I connected the 2 so far and one is projecting in color (it's connected via s-cable) ; the other one is a RCA yellow only, but projecting in black and white. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. THis is my first time presenting a dvd this way for 250 guests.

I do training videos, where I use slides as well as video. I started with Camtasia, recording Powerpoint presentations, but the editing was limited and difficult, and I moved to Vegas. In Vegas, I drop images of the slides from the Powerpoint, video clips, and audio tracks. This has worked OK, and is a lot easier to edit.

The problem is that I'm left with still, boring slides. I can't use any of the reveals (like line by line) or transitions in Powerpoint. I see some videos where they have very dynamic slides with all the animation (and then some).

My question is this... what do they use to incorporate slides into their videos, to get professional-looking results without having to screen-record a Powerpoint? Would I use a titling package like Boris Graffiti, or something like AfterEffects? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I've started to offer slideshows using ProShow Producer software from Photodex. I'm looking for some very upscale DVD cases as I'm charging handsomly for these. Any ideas?
