Hello,

I am completely new to video editing, and I started by buying a panasonic sd 90 which was what my current budget would allow me (+ batteries sd cards tripods etc).

Before purchasing I read some reviews (all where good to excellent) and I researched some sample videos online, all of which looked pretty good for a cam of this budget.

Now that I use it though, have noticed that the camera produces allot of noise, even in bright light- which is not very visible after the video is compressed, so I did not notice on the samples I watched online. Videos taken after dark, even in relatively well lit environments (such as bussy bar streets) are pretty useless. Is this normal for such a camera? I am bluffed because I thought it would produce at least decent videos.

Thanks allotÃ?Â

Hey you guys.I am new to this so be forgiving if my questions sound a bit strange.I create online property videos for Real Estate agents but my videos come out a bit blurred around the edges and have a bit af noise.I use a Panasonic SDR-S26 camcorder with Avs video editor software for editing. After creating the video I then ad this to Xvid4psp5.0 to enhance the colour. Is ti just the quality of my camcorder that causes the blurred image or is it my software?I was thinking to invest into a HD camcorder to eliminate the blurring and noise indoors.Any help or advice will be much apreciated.I have a few samples on my website at http://www.promedia.tv

Kind regards to all.

HI,

My wife shot some video on a JVC camcorder. The file has a lot of background noise, which I want to remove. I have Pro Tools, for music recording/editing, which I have used to do such work, by using the EQ and noisegates.

Does anyone know of any video software that I can get to edit the audio from the video file? (MPEG) Or is there software I can use to remove the audio from the file, clean it up in Pro Tools and then synch back up to the video?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am looking for a site that has downloads of free, ambient bass sounds, Much like the dramatic "rumble"you hear in movies. Which in the videogrophers arsonal, could pack a HUGE punch in the quality of the videos they make. If you have ANYTHING, dont hesitate to post it.

Thank You

I have a video all set up, and sometimes when I render it I get a 'pop' or 'click' sound right as the file starts. This happens with many different videos. Or I can just load a video, select it and render it. CLICK/Pop.

In Vegas there is NO SOUND at that point in the audio track. I can mute the audio entirely and it is STILL there.

If I mute the VIDEO track, the sound is usually reduced. I say usually because I can render the file several times, using EXACT same seetings and area selected to render, and get different results. It happens even if I render, then re-render with a different output name. The files will have differences at the beginning.

When the sound appears - it never goes away simply by more renders.

I have tried this on two machines (both running WinXP - Home & Pro).

It's very frustrating. Please HELP!!!!!!!!

I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. I have a video with lots of bass and I want to reduce it. When I click right-click on the audio and go to audio editing software, it says 'No audio editing software assigned to Sony Vegas' or something like that. What can I do to reduce the bass?

 Thanks in Advance
