Thanks...I have several hundred files (sports related stuff) in either mpeg or wmv format that I need to put onto DVDs for distribution to friends and clients that they can watch on regular DVD players...but should I burn the mpegs and wmvs to DVD or convert them to a different and better format for DVD burn?? (I use the free software "Any Video Converter" to convert)....Please advise? Thank you....

I saw that a similar question was discussed about a year ago here without a real answer and I have posted this in the Amature video editing forum on yahoo and Thought this may be a more appropriate place to post this question.

I bought a Sony HVR-HD1000u camera which is marketed as an entry level pro camera. In the manual under specifications it had this text under the header NOTES ON LICENSE.

How does this apply to the camera use?

ANY USE OF THIS PRODUCT OTHER THAN CONSUMER PERSONAL USE IN ANY MANNER
THAT COMPLIES WITH THE MPEG-2 STANDARD FOR ENCODING VIDEO INFORMATION
FOR PACKAGED MEDIA IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED WITHOUT A LICENSE UNDER
APPLICABLE PATENTS IN THE MPEG-2 PATENT PORTFOLIO, WHICH LICENSE IS
AVAILABLE FROM MPEG LA, L.L.C., 250 STEELE STREET, SUITE 300, DENVER,
COLORADO 80206

Is there any way to re-sync or re-calibrate an audio/video file in the PPro CS4? I captured HDV footage in PPro using standard MPEG format (as per usual)... the start of the clip is fine, but the audio is out of sync in the later section (in the timeline). When I "Edit Original" or preview in Bridge the audio/video are perfectly in sync. I tried deleting the clip and importing into PPro again, copying to a new project, searching online... still no luck.

Many thanks,

Andrew
