I was a bit worried about people not being able to get past the first 30 seconds. I'll risk it. The motivation behind this commercial is a direct response to our town's local film festival. They've been running for 20+ years in a historic theater downtown. We submitted a couple of decent shorts to the short film portion of their week long festival. They didn't accept our shorts, and some of the stuff they did accept looked like the first 30 seconds of this commercial. Our purpose with OAFF is to provide a venue for filmmakers and movie watchers to see something in our community that isn't intentionally crappy for the sake of "art." Maybe I'm just bitter? I don't know... maybe.
