I am thinking of buying Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. I already have Premiere Pro 1.5. I want to capture video with my new Canon XH-A1 and I have been reading some confusing information about the camera and CS4. Will the Canon XH-A1 capture and do scene detect using Adobe CS4. Some say the Adobe CS4 will only scene detect 60i and not 30f or 24f. Does anyone know? I can't seem to get an answer from any Adobe forums. Also will Adobe CS4 perform device control for the XH-A1.

I am having a recurring problem with FCP.. Â When I go to capture, sometimes FCP will be unable to recognize my capture device (which is a Vixia HV30 camcorder) and then other times, it will time out and say that there is not enough or no information coming in from the capture device and it tells me to check and see if my capture device is playing anything or is connected properly (which it always is)... Â Keep in mind, there is absolutely nothing wrong my capture device... Â When I go to my other editing station, the device captures fine in FCP or iMovie and on the computer I have troubles with iMovie always works....

Any suggestions/help?Â
