I have for sale two Sony cameras. Both were used mainly for Wedding Videography I did as a side gig, and both worked great for every single Wedding I shot. I have always taken great care of them both and kept them both in their own case.

Both cameras are in excellent condition. I've had them for about 5 year now. They work great and still shoot great looking standard deff footage for whatever you choose to use them for.

I've never run into an adapter that will allow you to connect a standard 1/8" or XLR mic to any Sony camcorder with a proprietary shoe. I'm afraid the best way to use an external mic would be to use an external recorder and then sychronize the sound from that recorder to the image on the tape.

I bought a used sony handycam dcr hc 96 and really need external mike audio. I do mostly family video/documentary filming.

this camera has a shoe mount, where you can mount a microphone. can someone recommend a good mike? ALSO, I really would like a lavalier.

is there an adapter for the shoe mount which will receive the lavalier input? I guess that is 1/8" or maybe XLR?
