When I press record the magenta and green gradient is recorded.  When I put in a pre-recorded tape it looks completely normal.  </p> <p>If anyone has any ideas on what's wrong, or how I can fix it, if it can be fixed, please respond.</p> http://www.videomaker.com/community/forums/topic/sony-ccd-trv37-transfer-to-laptop#post-42531 Thu, 25 Dec 2008 11:08:05 +0000 javahog 42531@http://www.videomaker.com/community/forums/ <p>Hello...I am in a quandary.  I have a Sony Handycam Vision CCD-TRV37 camcorder that I've been recording with for about 9 years now.  The only interface it has is your typical two cable analog RCA output.  I would like to start editing these using a laptop.  Any recommendations on hardware and software to do this with?  I have seen the USB TV Tuners and I already have a TERK RF Modulator that I can hook this up to a USB Tuner, but is that enough or should I look for something better that comes bundles with software.  I would like to edit this and eventually transfer to DVD (laptop already has a built in DVD burner with).</p> <p>Thanks, JavaHog</p>
