I'm new to the world of filming. I found this site and was hoping I can get some advice from users. I have a canon gl2 with the MA-300 XLR adapater. Can I run a shotgun mic on the left channel and a audio technica wireless mic on the right channel. Will I get sound on tape picked up from the shotgun mic and sound from the wireless mic?

Thanks for your feedback on this question to a newbie on the adventure of learning a new hobby of filming.

I bought the WMS Pro Wireless mic and the adapter plugs directly into the camera without an XLR adapter. Problem is I only get noise out of the Left Channel. My question is... Is there any way to get it out of both channels without buying an XLR adapter? Do I need the XLR Adapter to get it to work on both Left and right Channels. Thank you for any help.

I have a Canon GL2 that I've had for about a year along with tons of extra accessories that I MUST SELL. I'm getting married soon so the extra money will come in handy. The camera is in excellent condition with minor scratches on the bottom from the tripod attachment. Everything that comes with the kit includes:

Canon GL2 camcorder, Pelican 1620 carrying case, Sony WCS-999 wirless microphone system, Merkury Optics Wide Angle Lens and Telephoto lens, Merkury Optics lens filters (UV, PL, F-DL), 3 extended life batteries, battery charger, Canon camera mount light w/battery, wireless remote control, all cables, and instruction manual.

I live in the Houston area so a local sale would be ideal, but I could ship it if necessary within the US. I'm asking $1200 for everything.

Thanks for looking!

The ad says "in-person transactions only" but since you guys are visiting the videomaker forum, I'd assume your not a scammer. So I'll accept checks mailed to me; however, I won't ship out the camera until the check clears.Â
