Yea, I jumped into this head first so this is what I get.

I filmed an 8 hour presentation complete with about 150 slides on a power point presentation. I got the file in 2 forms: pdf of each slide and a powerpoint file. I went to the pdf and exported all slides into TIFF files and was inserting them into my video.

All WAS well until I used the track motion to shrink the slide and put it in a corner of the screen so you can still see the presenter. The image gets very blurry and crappy, mostly illegible.

What do I do? Should I have exported them differently somehow? I tried turn the slideshow into an avi video file by putting all the slides in a session and rendering that down, but that didn't work either. Same issue.

After looking up some stuff I know that ppt is annoying to work with, but hoping someone on here has some ideas on how to best make it so those files are clear when they are shrunken down.

Please help!

Hello everyone. I'm new to the website and have found sooo much useful information on the forums section. Every time I have a problem I'm always relieved to find a solution here! Well this time I couldn't find an awnser and was looking for a little help..

I work for a skateboard company doing filming and video editing. I'm normally busy with skate video editing for web or dvd. Using Illustrator files for titles that normally fade in and out on top of my video while it plays. They always look fine on the web or on dvd's and t.v.'s..

But now they got me working on this sales video for all there sales representatives. It's just footage of people talking and giving information in front of the camera. And while they talk I fade in and out Illustrator (vector) files that pinpoint what they are talking about. Just a white background with black text..

But for some reason most of the smaller sized text and some pictures are blurry or fuzzy looking on the T.V. after I put it to DVD. Also when I watch it from my camera.

Anyone have any words of wisdom??? Or maybe just something simple I'm missing. I thought Vector files always looked good if you import them straight from Illustrator into Final Cut Pro? Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Surf Turkey

Whenever I load a video (that looks nice and sharp in any player) into Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c, it is blurry in the Preview window, in "Preview in Player" and in rendered video, even using the Lagarith codec.

I can add "Sharpen" to the EventFX, but if I do that then my bezier masks tend to have lines around them.

I can find no option anywhere that I can turn on/off to fix this. It does it on two machines running XP Pro/Home.

Hi there

I am very new to this, bought a camera have shot some footage & have captured & edited it using WMM and burnt it to disc using Image Burn.

The result on playback on the DVD is very blurred & pixellated. Actually when captured on the computer its quite blurry also. As opposed to just through the TV, looks superb...

I have Windows XP.

My questions are:

Is blurryness due to my hardware or software(or both)? I am considering getting Adobe Premier, but not certain.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

MJÂ Â
