Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate Edition Video Editing Software Review (page 2)

TECH SPECS

Platform: Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and Vista
Processor: Intel 1.8GHz Pentium, AMD 1.8GHz Athlon; 2.4GHZ recommended
Memory: 512MB RAM, 1GB recommended
Hard Drive 1GB of disk space to install software and 3+GB to install bonus content
Other: DirectX 9 or higher-compatible graphics card with 64MB (128MB recommended), DVD-ROM drive for install

Strengths

  • High-powered plug-ins
  • HD support
  • Direct upload capability

Weaknesses

  • Automatic music generation program can sound slightly mechanical
  • More direct-upload Web sites would have been nice
  • For only a few bucks more for Ultimate edition, why bother with lower-priced versions?

SUMMARY

For its strong lineup of video and audio plug-ins alone, Pinnacle Studio Ultimate packs a lot of bang for the buck.
