Freelance Lecturers on Video Production

Videomaker Magazine is always looking for good lecturers for our Summits and Conferences held in the New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Virginia Beach, Cleveland, Chicago, Burbank, Sacramento, Chico, Houston, Dallas and Santa Clara metropolitan areas. Do you know how to produce video on consumer gear well enough to teach techniques to others? Do you understand the technology well enough to explain it? Do you have a command of the business or legal aspects of video production? Do you have tips to share with aspiring wedding videographers? Do you speak well before groups? If you can answer yes to any of these, you could become part of the team of lecturers at a Videomaker Summit or Conference. Lectors are paid as independent contractors at the rate of $100 per 1.25 hour lecture. How to apply: Please provide us with your resume, a 5-minute videotape of yourself giving a lecture and a list of the subjects in which you are strongest. Send these items to our Human Resources department with "Lecturer" written on the envelope. E-mail questions to: cfulton@videomaker.com . Know someone else who knows video? Freelance Instructors of Video Production

Videomaker Magazine is looking for videographers with good leadership skills to instruct the workshops we conduct in Chico, California one weekend every couple of months. Do you know how to produce video on consumer gear well enough to teach techniques to others? Do you understand the technology well enough to explain it? Applicants must be able to lead a group of around 10 people through the planning, shooting and editing process, producing a short finished tape in a weekend. Qualified candidates must audit one workshop and practice on our equipment before instructing. Send resume and demo tape to our Human Resources address. Write "Workshop Instructor" on the envelope.
